What is Natural Movement?

Over the years, as our society has become more office-driven, we have created poor movement habits. These habits are now affecting our bodies and minds in a negative and unhealthy way, causing pain in many layers of our body. The Natural Movement Sessions are designed to evaluate your specific body and how it’s designed and to then help you relearn how to live in your natural alignment. This part of your series teaches you how simple changes to your every day life can relieve much of the stress put on your body. This can be as simple as changing the way you get out of bed, and sit down for dinner, or as advanced as personalized stretching sessions. The goal of this part of the program is to maintain the work you've received from Structural Integration, and to allow your body to find balance within gravity.


When can I start these sessions?

Natural Movement sessions can be done at any time. For optimal results, incorporating these sessions, in addition to your structural integration process, will allow your body to feel the changes and adapt to them at a quicker rate. Once you've relearned the movement, it is imperative to continue practicing outside of your sessions, in your every day life. A lack of attentiveness and awareness of these patterns, will lead to a continuation of old habits. These old habits are partly to blame for your body's pain and stress. These sessions should be an easy addition to your life, with a big reward. Though it is key to remember: you've taken this long to create the habits you now have, so it will take time and diligence to reeducate your body to form new habits.


Dance Lessons sound interesting…

Dance Training comes in the form of floor-sequences, or aerial instruction. This type of movement is for those clients who want to advance their body awareness and capabilities. Each session includes body-weight conditioning, active stretching techniques, and dance sequences depending on your level. These sessions can also be done in addition to your SI series, or as a standalone service.


How Much does a Session Cost?

Head To Heel sessions start at $130 per hour. This price is for the same for both SI Sessions and Dance/Movement Sessions. We at Head To Heel want to make personalized health affordable for everyone, without lowering the standard of our work. This pricing is strictly limited to our office location, and may be subject to additional fees should we need to meet you at a different location.
